Its been a while

I can't believe that its been as long as it has since I have updated this thing. I've been so busy since the move that everything has gone by the wayside while I paint, tear up carpet, order new tile and massive amounts of landscaping. I have no idea how to pace myself and I've run myself into the ground. I'm paying for it now. Major pain, major fatigue, and a sense of wondering if there is more going on that just exhaustion. I'm going to do a cleanse and then see how I feel. I also think that all the experience we've had with cancer and the new ones that have entered our lives, has me afraid that there is more going on in my insides than fibromyalgia. I know that's probably not the case, but still, the fear and wonder is there, so I hope I start to feel better.
We have settled into a nice routine here on Roche Dr. and we LOVE this house. Its very peaceful and our backyard has become our oasis from the busyness of life. Its fun to just sit out there and take it all in. Our neighbors are great and the neighborhood is better than we expected. I got to meet a woman the other night while dining with Carina that lives just a couple streets over from us, that, get this, used to live next door to where we lived on W. Como! I had heard that the family who lived in that house had moved to where we were moving and now I have met her. Small world. Its also nice to have some of the modern amenities of life, central air and a solid floor (we have a slab foundation, no basement!) The dogs are loving the fenced in backyard, but I do have to constantly keep Emma from digging up flowers and vegetables. Thats pretty annoying and I've started to seriously train her the important commands of "come" and "out". She gets it, but she does not always obey it!
Fred is doing well too. We both have been very tired and have just been chilling as much as we can, when we can. Other than bike rides, we've been parked out back and talking a lot.
So, for not posting for two months, you'd think I have more to say, but I don't. Its just nice to have a normal, easy going life right now. Other than feeling a bit under the weather, life is good :-)
